These massive 10 ft. doors were custom designed and built of Mesquite wood for The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center of Texas. Mesquite wood was chosen because it is native to Texas. Finding the wood to build doors this size was a real challenge since Mesquite is closer to a bush than a tree! You can see these doors in Grapevine, Texas. Grapevine is a suburb of Dallas.
